GadgetTrak has launched a new laptop theft recovery product called Mac Trak that is designed specifically for the Mac platform. The software utilizes advanced wi-fi positioning technology to triangulate the location of your stolen device using wireless routers in the area. The accuracy is within about 20 meters of where the device is actually at. In addition the software integrates with Flickr, the photo sharing site, the software uses the built-in camera to capture photos of the thief every 30 minutes and sends them to your Flickr account, as well as email, along with the collected location and network data.
